What's New At The Library?

Several Renovations Have Been Completed

Over the winter months we've completed a variety of library improvement projects. We expect the finishing touches to be completed in early spring. These upgrades include:

• Carpets throughout all areas.
• Replacement lights. New energy efficient lighting fixtures have been installed in all areas. Not only do they save energy, but they are also easier on eyes and provide a more natural light.
• We've been painting every surface of the library - walls, ceilings, and trim. We think patrons will agree that the brighter and softer colours give the library a rejuvenated feeling of space that's quite uplifting.
• Additional shelving has been added to various areas of the library. We've also furnished a corner of the library for our teen/young-adult patrons.

New Additions To Our Collections

Hundreds of new book titles have been added to the library along with continued expansion of our video collections. One focus early in the new year was to enhance our teen and young-adults collections. We encourage all patrons to visit regularly and see the transforming and growing collection available to you!
